Preserving the wonderful moments of life is becoming simple with the arrival of video and image editing applications. These apps allow people to take control of their visual content by allowing them to enhance, customize, and share their creations with others. MixMuvi is a leading-edge app that enables users to edit their photos and videos by adding impressive sound tracks with amazing visual effects.
Client’s Requirement
The client wanted us to develop a feature-rich image video editing app that will serve both amateur and professional users with immense pleasure when customizing various photos and videos. The app must be compatible with various devices and platforms to offer a seamless end-user experience. The client also wanted us to make sure that the app delivers a stable and efficient performance when processing image and video files of diverse sizes and formats.
Process
We first started to evaluate the photo and video editing apps of competitors. Similarly, we also conducted a detailed market survey to know about the pain points, requirements, and expectations of next-gen users. It allowed us to identify the useful features that will make the MixMuvi app stand out from other video and photo editing platforms. Then we created a user-journey map and shared it with the client. Once receiving the feedback, we adopted an agile development methodology to execute the project. Moreover, we also deployed various performance media file optimization techniques by incorporating versatile libraries and codecs to support various file formats.
